On a bright but breezy day, Freuchie won the toss and batted first.

Falkland did well to restrict Freuchie to 196 all out on a good batting track and a fast outfield.

Two innings determined the match - one was the 65 of Steve Rowley and the other was the 59 of Graeme Watson, but the difference was that Graeme had better support from Shaun Taylor, Brian Watson and Tim Lythe.
