Falkland had a thrilling victory in their Division II game at Ferry Road in Edinburgh on Saturday. The pitch was damp, but Falkland's bowlers took full advantage of the conditions to bowl SMRH out for 84 with Kevin Chapman and Tim Lythe taking three wickets each. Falkland struggled in turn but resolute batting from Kevin Chapman in the middle of the innings and Craig Hepburn at the end saw Falkland through to win by one wicket. As a result of this, Falkland now jump two places in the table, and next week sees them involved in a potentially very exciting game at Stoneywood-Dyce who have to beat Falkland to win the League.
