Balanced on a knife edge coming into the last over, Kinloch needed just 2 runs to win, but Michael Morris kept his nerve to sensationally bowl a double wicket maiden to see Falkland through by the margin of 1 run!

Earlier Falkland had posted the total of 98 for 4 in their 20 overs. A quick start from Dougie Lawson and Geordie Gallagher saw 25 put on for the first wicket, but after a clatter of wickets it was down to the experienced Stuart Lindsay (43no) and man of the match Michael Morris (25no) to get Falkland up to a respectable total.

In reply, Kinloch were met by some tight bowling from Geordie Gallagher (5-0-16-0). Some outstanding fielding also contributed to Falkland's cause - most notably superb catches from Gregor Lawson and Thomas Brunton. However, the crucial wicket takers were Scott Meikle 2-21 and Michael Morris 4-16 as Falkland pulled off a startling victory.
